I have a big issue while trying to create my first ABAP project under Eclipse. I dowloaded and installed successfully Eclipse Oxygen Release (4.7.0) and dowloaded the ADT and I could see the new ABAP plugin on Eclipse. I downloaded the SAP GUI 7.40 too. But when I try to create a new ABAP project on Eclipse that error pops up : "SAP GUI configuration file 'saplogon.ini' not found in location 'C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common'". I tried to dig in my SAP GUI package for a saplogon.ini file but I found only the saplogon.exe file...

How can I configure my SAPGUI 740 so it works together with the ADT environment and be able to create new ABAP projects?

Hi Seif,

SAPlogon.ini will be created once you create and configure your SAP environment in SAP logon.

To create, just click the "New" icon on your SAP logon then configure it with customer application server.
