URGENT !!! After a crash of a cabin disk ....

After a crash of our cabin disk, we will restart our R3 and XI system in a hour, (I hope). We must start R3 system and then XI

When system will be started, we need to prioritize some file which must create IDOC in SAP (file - idoc scenario). But when we restart R3 system there will be a great number of IDOC's sended to XI, and this is not so critical as first scenario.

What is the best manner to prioritize the first scenario (file to idoc) ?

If we stop the idoc sender communication channel.... Will we can process it later? How?

Please, we need an urgent response. Thanks.

Do you not have a Disaster Recovery policy?

Clearly it is needed now!

I would start R/3 and stop all processing of inbound and outbound items. (this will collect all idocs for processing later)

Start XI and stop all processing of inbound and outbound items.

Work out what is required in what order and activate accordingly.

The order depends on whether there are dependencies, the urgency and the volume of processing.
