Unlike Dimensions, filters applied on Measures will disappear once prompts refresh takes place. This badly affects the nice feature of having your local customized copy of AO for excel so once you open it and hit refresh Measures filters will be cleared. This might be an expected behavior as previous post suggests but is there any way to solve this?
I am using 2.4 SP4
Thank you
Hi Tammy - I really appreciate a quick response on this as we're going live very soon

Hi Tammy, yes it's a good solution however if we add a dynamic calculation to one or more of our measures in the BEx query designer the problem remains when refreshing prompt values and It works fine with Refresh ALL. If we add a dynamic calculation manually as a new measure we get no issues.
Do you have any suggestions that can be applied in the query designer ?

Marc - I think it is a good solution; I am not sure what else you are looking for?

Hi Tammy, thanks for the quick response.
I have tried adding a dynamic calculation to the Measures filters and it appeared as a separate column and it got maintained successfully after the refresh.
I hope this is what you mean by adding a formula as I am not a technical AO user

Hi Marc - I wonder if you could put some formulas on the measure filters, and then see if that is maintained after the refresh?
