How Can I See The Exact Change Made to A Batch Order

Former Member

Scenario: A raw material in a batch order was changed.

What I know: I know it was changed. I know who changed it, and I know when and what time it was changed using COR3, MSC4N, all documents change information

What I do not know: SAP does not tell you what exactly was change. It could be the batch size of final product, packaging information, raw material order of addition.

What I need to know: How can I find exactly what was changed for a specific batch order?

Thank yuou

What is a batch order? Eventually you can tell the transaction that is used to create a batch order, maybe I can then know what the SAP term is for your term.

if you change an item in a process order then you cannot expect to find the changes among the changes of the batch record.

You have not changed a batch record, you have changed a process order.

for process order changes you may check this old discussion: https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/1758429

I have done the All Document Change too. It only shows who made a change and what type of change was done and NOT the actual change information. See image.

It does not show the material that was change and the amount that was altered.

Is this even possible?

That is the process order, but not the change log of the process order. Kindly go again through the link I gave you as it explains the way to get to the change log as well as what you have to do in case you have no change logs active.

Thank you Jürgen. Couldn't do what I wanted to achieve. The link provided limited information.

You mentioned you see change documents in MSC4N

Does your screen look different to mine?

You just click the button for the individual change and you see which fields got changed in the section below

Yes it looks like yours.

Still some changes are not shown. To test out the accuracy of this change document, I looked up a batch I changed the raw material size and added new raw material few weeks ago.

Under the change document, my username was not listed as one who changed process order. In addition, I also do not see my change in MSC4N. See attached images. How long before this change becomes visible?

Can you show a screenshot from the view where you did the change, I have not really any Imagination on "I changed the raw material size"

On the last item RX07-550X-LBV0, it used to be RX02-330-LBV0 150 POUNDS. This was changed by me to RX07-550X-LBV0 through COR2.

Can SAP actually tell me what changed if I use MSC4N to see change info? Will SAP show me the material that was change and how much pounds was changed?
