while connecting to FTp i got the error message as

"An error occurred while connecting to the FTP server '216.184.74.200:21'. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 530 '. For details, contact your FTP server vendor."

Hi Rajesh,

Check the connectivity to the FTP server by..

1.Open the Command Prompt.

2. Execute the command ping 216.184.74.200/ping 216.184.74.200:21.

3. Check if you are getting an reply for the specified IP.

to get the problem....try to login to the server from your comand promptusing the FTP command with the credentials you have mentioned in the adapter...

type the FTP-open (server name)-use the credentials usename and PWD.....also make sure you have given the correct path in the driectory

1. you might have given the wrong directory strucutre.....

2. Ceck the FTP command (this will tell your User with which you can login or not is right)

Hi Rajesh,

i guess wrong server address specified in the adapter configuration.

Check once in theFILE CC configuraiton the server address. This is should be same as that of your FTP server. If your using ssl too then specify the right port

have you given the correct entry for the IP address ?
