Smartforms, Sapscript or simple write: report ???

hi,

I have to do a report like this to be printed: 3 columns ,one of them as a long description.

header: new post
date  : today
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C1            C2                                                          C3

1              Type your message using the form                          12341
                below. When finished, you can 
                optionally preview your post by 
                clicking on the "Preview" button


2              None                                                         0
          
3              Otherwise, click the "Post Message"                        9999
                button to submit your message 
                immediately

What is the best way to do it, i would like to do with a smartform but how can i break a line to fill column C2, it is possible ?

Hi

It depends on your requirement. If the data of Long text is coming directly from any table then its better to goto se38 and write a code for that. If it is dynamic text which u have to write all the details manually then prefer for smartform and the remaining will be same what ever u perform in scripts or smartforms.

Because in your report( SE38) by using ALV we can get that type of format

Hi,

You can use Smartforms to display the output which you need. In Smartforms if you create a templace with 3 cells to be filled with columns it will

automatically adjust the description in the cell and if it overflows it will go to another row.
