Hi,

I am currently working in UK payroll. I need to configure for National insurance number. but first of all i need to give the option of NI number in 0002. when I go to the screen modifiers i could not find the field NI number in that how can i get the field to IT0002. wait for the valuable inputs

Hi Rashmi,

If the NI field is standard for UK, you can find that in the IT 0002 or enhance your infotype to include the field. Analyze whether you have maintained any variant for your screen. Look at the exact screen variant fields to show up in the screen.

Hi Rashmi

NI is a standard field on Infotype 0002 for UK . Hence when you hire an employee in SAP for a UK company (Molga =08) , this field will be available to you. There is no need to enhance the infotype at all. Its all standard SAP.

Hi,

Check the Feature P0002 in T code PE03.

The infotype 0002 can be enhanced for country specific settings in this feature.

For US, PA0002-PERID is used as SSN no. I think the same field is used as NI for UK..

Hi Rashmi,

Go to P0002 feature and look at the return value for your grouping, is there any variant you have mentioned to default for UK. If so, go to SM30, select the table V_T588M, select the MP000200, your Screen number with the exact variant name, there you can find the field, make the field as Mandatory to enter the field. If there is no such field in that screen, then you need to enhance the infotype in PM01.

You can find lot of threads to enhance the infotype, as we already discussed in the forum.

Hi,

You can make use of the 185 infotype (configuring subtype) or enhance the 0002 infotype for insurance id.
