Hi all,
can anyone tell me why i have to connect AS400 with odbc?
is not possible to connect via jdbc like sqlserver?
whats de diference?

Yes u can connect the DB2 database that comes with AS400 using JDBC adapter

my doubt is the difference between connect data base as400 with odbc or jdbc.
y saw dome blog about, and all of them use odbc.

That would not remain particular to AS400. The different methods are used bcoz of their usages. See this

it´s even possible to use the jms adapter in case you have a MQ Series to adapt the messages from XI to a AS/400.
