Hi,
well normally just goto rso2 in your r/3, select Sap-Query as extraction method and enter the name of your query. Make sure your query is defined globally and ready for transport. Generate your datasource.

Dear Siegfried Szameitat,
Thank you for your input. Your answer was helpful - i do have some basic doubts which i think you can clear.
I tried to create datasource using RSO2 which wanted the infoset and finally the request was rejected by the system for the want of access key. Should i have abaper authorisation for creating through this.
If yes - is this the only way or can i create it through some other method - i am not an abaper and i do not have abaper authorisation.
Further - the link mentioned by you also doesn't give full step by step process of what has to be done for this - can you kindly explain?
Regards,
M.M
Dear Sunil Reddy ,
Sorry for the late reply. I checked as per your information and found that there are no missing authorisation. When i create a datasource in RSO2 using the infoset of a specified query - while saving, the system prompts for access key.
What should be done for this.
Regards,
M.M
