Wrokflow Vs Guided Procudures

Hi Gurus,

Can you please help me pointing out some key difference between workflow and Guided Procedures. As I am not able to see any difference between both.

Please let me know your views.

    Hi,

Before coming to conclusion that theere is no difference , would suggest that pls go thro' SAP help.

But still, would like to list down some of the main differences:

    - GP is mainly based on Java stack of NW

    - GP is used in distributed scenarios, e.g. variety of systems interacting during the approval.

Rest all theoretical part you can get in SAP help.

Hope it helps to start off..

    Regads,

    Akshay

There are several differences. Perhaps my knowledge is outdated, but some issues were:

    - The role concept is not as advanced in Guided Procedures (by far)

    - You do not have the same possibilities for deadlines in Guided Procedures

    - In a Guided Procedure the user will see where in the process he/she is working
