CN22 transaction

in change mode in cn22 transaction,

system satus is ACAS CRTD MANC NMAT

when the user goes to edit-> status->release it will set to

system staus to ACAS MANC NMAT REL.

before changing the staus to release, i need to validate,

how to do( comare the current system release againt the ealier)

any ideas welcome
