Problems in creating Product Interchageability Groups

Hi,

I am getting the following error while creating Product Interchageability Groups

"Internal and External number ranges not defined for group type Supersession Chain".

I tried maintaining the number range intervals for this group type but still get the error while executing the Supersession service.

Can anyone tell me what could be the issue ?

Hi Siva,

I have followed the below instructions

1. Transaction SNUM

2. Object : /INCMD/GRP

3. Select Number Ranges

4. Maintain "Groups"

After clicking on "Maintain Groups" I see the following

Group without text

1 10 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

When I select the group and click on Maintain ,I again get the error.

Thanks..The problem got resolved after referring the Note "1057389 - Creating number ranges for Interchangeability Master Data".

Hi Mitesh,

Did u maintained the number ranges in '/INCMD/GRP'?

If so cross check with the table NRIV.

Pass Object name to the object field and NRRANGENR (01-> Super Session internal number ranges and 02-> Super session external number range ) to cross check the entries.
