Hello,

Opening the Browse Community page, I see the following:

However, I would like to hide the Database, Event, Industry, Operating System and leave only the Products where I can have only some particular items.

The button +Show more is annoying (sorry for that!)

Can you please suggest how to customize the Browse Community page?

Thanks!

I guess it is no more the SCN site. It is the Community site.

BUT

I would wish to re-open the previous SCN site. Just remove the Gamification (all points and badges), remove the marketing, ads and other non-readable things. Keep the Spaces and wipe the Tags. Give it a new name (if the Community still needs to be a 'SCN').

And enjoy it .

Ads? I see none here... yet (only some advertorial content, which is just as hard to find as any content in the new platform)... and for the old site - it always puzzled me why there is a need to serve ads in SCN: it is unlikely that consultants, which are the majority of people visiting the forum, purchase SAP products - we use them, configure them, fix them. To be completely honest, in the few cases, where I opened SCN without an active adblocker/script blocker, the ads were not really horrible - they even fulfill the criteria for acceptable ads.

There is no going back to the old site for many reasons, which Oliver explained here: Inside Look at the New SAP Community (yay, I found another mystery meat feature), we all have to learn and adapt.

Marketing is one of the reasons why the site exists and why SAP invests in software, servers, pays for support experts etc. - there are no free meals on the Internet (at least not in the corporate part of it).

Other than that, I completely agree - Browse Community page desperately needs a rethink and redesign.

As a possible workaround - you can create a blog and add/position the links, which you see as most important for you exactly as you like. You can keep it in draft mode, if you wish (unless you choose to share with others). This is what I am planning to do, once the site becomes a bit better and lots of new useful content gets created - right now there is not much added value for me to go through the community pages, containing tags, in which I am interested, because I have already read these Related resources in the old platform.
