AUTO PROGRAM FOR UPDATION OF LOCATION IN EQUIPMENT MASTER

Hi Experts,

One issue is for me and I request you all to help me.My client is having 5000 equipments and they keep on changing the location on daily basis and this has been recorded in the seperate system(non-sap).

My Client wants to update this in R/3 on daily basis.For this , I have written logic for how to update the equipment location field and the issue is from R/3, how to read the external file contains Equipment No and Location

Pl throw some light on this.

    You can use LSMW for mass updates by providing external data source such as a flat file. So record the BDC using LSMW. Before specify the formats in which the data has to be presented to the BDC. Also, since it is a daily updation once you freeze the format it will be reusable everyday.

    Hi

    You can Use LSMW program. In that , you can use recording funciton which used to change the location in Equipment master.
