AGATE loadbalancing status : POLLED

Hi all,

We have ITS 620 SP 22 on Windows 2003 and IIS 6.0 for Shopping cart scenario. The ITS Landscape is as follows:

Server1: having SRM WGATE+AGATE and ITS ADM instances

Server2: having SRM AGATE and ITS ADM instances

Server3: having SRM AGATE and ITS ADM instances

We need to loadbalance the AGATES, we have made changes for the WGATE on Server1 to speak to the other two AGATES, however, in the ITS ADM instance of the Server1 under Load Balancing, we see the status of the AGATES as Polled. Only the AGATE on Server1 is being used.

We have made changes to the ItsRegistryWGATE.xml as per http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/44/2e2ea506a4060ae10000000a155369/frameset.htm

Appropriate entries have been made in the hosts and services files.

Any advice to get the other two AGATEs to work one would be helpful.

Regards,

Preetha Rethinam

    Hi Preetha,

Have you set parameter MultiProcess to yes in ITsRegstryWGATE.xml? Otherwise wgate will not do loadbalancing.

    Best regards,

    Klaus

There were some parameters to be modified in global.srvc

    Thanks
