PI 7.0 Content ----Post installation of Process Integration

Hi Experts

I have installed Netweaver 2004s including PI 7.0.Right now the system is at SP6.and we are upgrading it till SP12.

I have run the initial template installer to do the basic configurations, also have run the SLDCHECK and SXI_Cache transactions.

Have also import the SAP_Basis content.

Have also completed basic RFC destinationa and logical system settings.

Now i want to know what all XI patches has to be applied.(like XIAFC,XIAF,XITOOL)

and whats the step by step procedure of the same .

It would be great if some one can help me with step by step guide .

Any help would be rewarded.

Thanks and Regards

Can you be a bit more clear and straight .

there are lot of patches but i just need to know the the XI content patches to be uploaded so that we can perform the simple end to end scenario like iDOC to SQL.

I only know that we have to upload some XI patches using JSPM instead of SDM.

    Thanks and Regards

      Log onto http://service.sap.com/swdc

Select SAP Support Packages and Patches

Browse through: Support Packages and Patches > SAP NetWeaver > SAP NETWEAVER > SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 (2004S)

      Select Support Package Stacks

      Enter Target Stack SP12

      Select Soruce Stack SP6

      Only Select Process Intergration (XI)

      Select Database

      Select Operating system

Download all the correct patches required.

You need to upgrade the kernel/ABAP and Java stacks properly and not cut corners.

Thanks for your time and quick answers.

For java patches in 2004s can i directly apply highest one or do i have to go sequentially.
