CRM 5.0 - IC WebClient - Service Ticket - Appointment Type Config

Hi Gurus

How do I config Appointment Type ORDERACTUAL into Transaction Type Service Ticket.

Our process is: 1 Indintify Account and Confirm

2 Select Service Ticket

- error message follows

Date of category 'ORDERACTUAL' is not permitted in this transaction

Resolutions is advised as:

Diagnosis

In the current business transaction, you attempted to access an appointment or a duration using transaction type Z003, whose type ORDERACTUAL is not permitted for this transaction type according to the Customizing settings.

Procedure

The appointment type ORDERACTUAL that should be accessed is specified in the program coding. To correct the error without changing the program coding, you must assign the appointment type ORDERACTUAL to transaction type Z003 in Customizing.

Could someome please advise as to what steps are required in SPRO to customize this. I don;t want to use ABAP for this.

Hi,

The error is coming up because of the date profile that you are using

Check the date profile in your transaction type Z003.

Then goto the date profile configuration using the path IMG>CRM> Basic Functions--> Date management

Here in your date profile add ORDERACTUAL as the date type for which assign the date rule as "Today Date"

Thanks, I ended up using a different Date Profile, would not have found it with out your guidence.
