    Hi Avi,

In Tcode OKKP----Maintain Controlling area, Select your Controlling area

Here you need to maintain the Cost center Std hierarchy for your Controlling area.

Then while creating the Cost center you can select this Std hierarchy for your Cost center

When defining a Controlling Area - Cost Center standard hierarchy has to be defined. This is a mandatory field. This is the highest node of the Cost Center groups and Cost Centers.

A standard hierarchy can have cost center groups and cost centers. This is helpful in reporting as well as other functions in controlling module.

In addition to standard hierarchy, you can define a parallel hierarchy of Cost Center groups and Cost Centers as per the Business requirements. This can be done in transaction code KSH1 / KSH2.
