Sir,

When production order created naturally reservation is created for certain stores with mov type 261.How stores person issue material to that particular storage location ( for that order) with reference to that reservation.

Generally Picklist of the Production order will be printed by the shop floor person, he takes that to stores and Stores person Issues based on that and on system as Reddy explained MB1A or MIGO_GI transaction with movement type 261 against the order/reservation.

Hi,

when I am issuing material using pick list material is consume for that particular production order. again when I am confirming production order in CO11N again there is cosumption entry.How to avoid that?

Can you pl. give me detail steps with an example.

Hi Abhay

yopu have the option to issue with the pick list also.

normally people will print the p[ick list & take it to stores for transfering the material .stores will transfer the material in MB1B to production stores.

From production stores production man issue with MB1a or with Co11n with 261 movement.

Abhay,

Looks like Backflush is defined in your system.Backflush is the process by which components can be consumed/Issued during confirmation.

Please check the following areas for the same and deactivate.

1. Material Master MRP view for all the components of the Order.

2. Deactivate the Backflush Indicator from the workcenter. (All the workcenter used in the order).

3. Deactivate the Backflush Indicator in the Routing of the Header Material(Prd Order Material) in the Component overview.

4. For existing orders you can directly deactivate this in the order components overview for Individual orders.

In Customizing please see that "All Components" check box is deactivated under goods movement section of the Confirmation Parameters for Order type/Plant Combination. This you can check in OPK4.

Hi,

I have a production order of FERT Qty.10,

for this order requirement of as per my bill of material is

a=10,b=20,c=30.

But in our stores there is deficiency of ROH stock as per requirement .

Store issue material for that order

a=5,b=15,c=27

while going for confirmation of order how the system will react

Standard SAP does not consider or check the Goods Issue quantity with respect the Confirmation quantity.. so nothing it will do. It will allow you to confirm the operation/order for 10.

Hi

Stores person can issue directly with MB1A against the reservation.

But normally it will not happen in real time.

Production person will request by means of pick list or any other customised paper for trnsfering the same material to production stiores .

Then from there with 261 movement , the production man will do Gi.

This will be the normal practice fior better accoiuntability.
