change/add statistical order in document

We are using statistical orders which are not mandatory. In some cases, the user don't know the statistical order when posting the document. He asks if it is possible to post the document without statistical order and later change the document by adding the statistical order. I think it's not possible, but I'm not sure. What do you think about this ?

You are right. Once the document is posted you can not assign another controlling object in FI. May be you can try it CO module whether this can be assigned. I am not too sure about it.

Thank you for the answer. I have found additional information in another thread (Reposting of CO document; Posted: Jul 24, 2007 7:35 AM). I tried to use KB61 as suggested there and it seems to be a good solution.
