Authentication SAP WebGUI in Transaction iView

Hi,

i want to be able to call a sap bw transaction through the portal.

for that reason, i created an iView for SAP transactions and chose SAP GUI for HTML. this works so far.

but: i would expect that, after logged in to the portal, i would not need to log in again to use the webgui (within the iView). though apparently, my user information is not communicated to the ITS so that i have to log in again.

how can i make this work without logging in again?

as i found out, the portal server somehow uses so called logon tickets for authentication. how does the ITS handle these logon ticets? what do i have to do to make the ITS work with these logon tickets?

thanks very much in advance!

stefan

by the way:

i am using Integrated ITS 6.40

    Hi,

U can create ITS parameters in EP

Goto ur BW system object -- Property editor -- Internet transcation server

    Give description

Hostname of the ITS : for example, hspal:8002 (The first section of the name is the host, the second portion of the name after the colon, is the port. This information can be found under transaction code SMICM. Choose menu path GoTo  Services and you can find the hostname and port for the HTTP record.

U Need to enable SAPGUI for html)

    ITS Path :/sap/bc/gui/sap/its

    ITS Protocol :http

and also u need to activate ITS services in BW system

goto se80 give internet services (in the drop down box)

Below drop down give SYSTEM publish these service by right clicking system publish--complete service.

and also publish same way WEBGUI

and also cofigure SSO for ep and bw

    Hope this helps you.
