Hi

I am not sure if it just me or is it same for everyone ?

I downloaded and using the 1608 Cloud Application Studio and its testing my patience ever since !

1) Too slow - It tool me almost 30-40 min to add 1 button, save & activate and see it in Preview

2) UI designer - Keep crashing (not Responding) - Especially when working on TI and under controller selecting my custom action event handler.

3) the + & X buttons on Controller under Event Handler folder doesn't seem to work for me at all. There are non-clickable when I want to delete the event handler as I deleted the button - Was surprised to see that it allow user to delete the custom button by providing "Remove Button" operation but it does not clean up the handler

- Fade up with these issues, i then deleted my XUI and now it tell me about the declarations about the event handler existing. I don't know where to find and clean that !!

- After wasting hours, trying to read every possible document & google, I had no choice but to delete the XBO !!

I am still not sure what I have done wrong ! I was expecting Cloud SDK to be very fast and reliable given that it is based on Visual studio but....

If experts in this community can throw some pointers, that will be really great.

Thanks & Regards

Suchita

Hi Suchita,

May be there is issue with the current system, did you connect to any other system and check?

Thanks, Pradeep.

Yes Pradeep. Tried. Under Controller->Event handler-> if I select my event handler - How do I delete it ? the X button and + button are non-clickable.

What is the std. behaviour in case one want to delete an event handler ?

What is the std. behavioud in case one delete a button using Remove button operation - will it remove the event handler as a std. behaviour or not ?

Can you please let me know ? Many thanks in advance.

Best Regards

Suchita

HI Suchita,

On standard screen, you will have to perform everything using extensibility explorer only, under this option choose the one where you added the button, under the same option you would be allowed to delete also.

Thanks, Pradeep.

Hi,

I used the same option to remove and its only removing the button. It is not removing the event handler and I can still see that under the controller even when the button is removed. So this is not working as expected.

Thanks for your inputs thought.
