Company Name Change

Experts,

We need to change the names of a couple of Companies i.e Co Cds. Where do i go to change this - I went to OBY6, but i didn't get any option to change the description there even if go to change mode.

Could someone let me know how to change it ?

Hi Nandita,

There 2 places where we store company code name & address

1) img>> Fin A/cing>> company code >> Enter global parameters

Select the company code where u wan to make changes . there is a small icon called address (shift+F5), click to change address

2) IMG>> Enterprise structure >>Definiation >>FIn A/cing>> Deine, copy code data

then select Edit Company Code Data , select the company code which u want to change then click on to change name & address icon (shift+F5)

Also ensure that all customise form & report are modifed where ever company name is hard coded.

Hi Nandita,

Straight away u can change the Name & Address at the creation of Company Screen it self. Go to T.Code: 0X02...

Use path: Enterprise Structure> Definition> Financial Accounting> Edit, Copy, Delete, Check Company Code> Edit Company Code Data ...double click on your comapny code and change the name Save the entries

Go to enterprsie structure- dfinition- company code- edit. Here u can make changes to the name of the company code
