Hi Experts,
i download a XL Report "Dashboard-Profit Loss Statement" from SAP Portal. when i run this report it ask for Enter Parameter "Period". its o.k for me but i need to add another parameter Division name and i add this parameter also in Advanced Report Builder using Parameter option.
When i run this report it ask for me Period and Divison as parameter but the problem is for every division that i selected value comes same as Period.Its having no effect of Divisions..every time values comes same.
Let me know Is i am doing any mistake or there is any other way to do this.

When you create the new parameter by clicking parameter, could you tell what type you use in the new parameter ? is it profit center ?

In addition to my previous answer, after creating new parameter, e.g .division, do not forget to click periodic report button, click tab column in advance report builder (ARB), put cursor on the #Value cell, fill the selection based on defined dimension in the ARB where it will prompt the parameter you have created in the dimension lookup and then define selection value. have you done that ?
What will be your P&L division ? The division could be based on fields in the account detail
or anything else, if you agree, describe here.
