Hi Experts,

I have a problem with Entering Plan data.

I had created a Manual planning function w/o any inconsistencies.

After 'ENTER PLAN DATA' when the excel sheet opens, where we enter plan data. After entering the plan data, and saving it, when i say 'DISPLAY PLAN DATA'. I am not able to see the same data again.

Please guide me the exact steps. How to pass this data to the Infocube in BW.

Thank you.

Points will b rewarded.

Go into bw and with transaction listcube check if you can see the data in your bps cube.

If you can see the data in listcube, to check it in a bex query you have to use the variable 0S_RQMRC from the infopackage dimension to get the last data loaded.

if you can't see the data in the cube with listcube, it means your load has failed. you have to check your fox functions that update the data frin the excel in your cube.

Hi Karim,

ask u one simple question. What is the next step when we enter data in the excel sheet after 'Enter Plan Data'? Do we have to save the model? its not saving any data at that step.

Plz guide me abt this.

Thank you.

Hi Harshal.

That's right! You have to save the model in order to save data to the cube.

When you run a fox function it puts the data into the buffer. When you save the model it writes the data to the cube. This is a prevention in case the fox doesn't work well, you can undo the operation.

There's a function API_SEMBPS_POST that you can call to save data into the cube. Check at the following how to's the way to use this function:

Do you try launching some Bex queries?

The data should be available in real time.
