Username in IP

Hi,

I am following "How To... Line Items in BI Integrated Planning",

0UNAME gives userid not the name. Instead of using 0UNAME I am planning add 0TCTUSERNM (which gives userid and name) in the cube and populate it in the 'Characterstic Releationship', do you see any problem ? or anyother suggestion to get username (not userid).

Thanks

Ramesh

    Hi,

It seems fine. The how to line items method should work fine for your requirement also.

If it's only in the query you need the User name to be reported as David Antony Hill then in the properties on the characteristic select Text not technical name then it will display the name as you want and not the technical name of DHILL.
