GPLUS: sap phone configuration for gplus adapter

Hello friends,

we have installed gplus adapter for sap-erp integration. Can some one please let me know how to configure a connection between sap application server and an Adapter.

We got stuck in creating a SAPphone server on sap. In transaction SM59 while creating a new TCP/ip connection RFC destination, we need to set the RFC destination name and program id .

what should be the value for program id? Do we need to code a RFC for this ? cos we gave the program id as SPS.PROG as mentioned in the gplus deployment guide, but the connection test failed.

Can someone please help me in fixing this.

Just one more, how to obtain SAP RFC SDK binary files? Shd these binary files need to be placed in the gplus working directory? Does the tcp/IP connection failed due to missing binary files?

if not the process is simple you may want to cosider genesys documentation. You have to do setup and configuration on two places:

SAP SM59 RFC setup where you define host, program id etc

Genesys Config manager setup where you define an application/adapter with the above hosts, program id etc.

Then you start the gplus adapter, define your extensions etc and also have those extensions in SAP CIC

when all done you are ready to place a test call. Hope it helps.
