release strategy

Dear all,

I have set release stragey for po .while checking the release status in 'omgsck' it give error status that the characteristics Z_EKGRP(i have created via cto4) not linked to comunication structure cekko but i can able to release the purchase order in me29n.kindly clarify why it display the error status in 'Omgsck' & how to slove this error.

Dear Renuga,

In your creation may be ur making a mistake for this u can enter in ADDL Data tab table name CEKKO and field name EKGRP and also enter Values Tab ur respective Purchase groups.

Check and assign 032 Class in Restrictions Tab.

I hope it will solve ur Problem.

Hi,

Check the characteristic for purchasing group in ct04 .In the addnl data field is there the table name CEKKO and field name EKGRP .Also the release class 032 is incorporated in Restrictions tab.

Yes you were correct i didnt give the table & feild name in addnl data tab .is it pssible to give name now? i have tried but failed to give kindly advise how to solve this error.

Hi,

you need u to create new characterstic and first enter in additional data tab field name and table name.It will pick the data.Then assign to class and call classification in release strategy.

HI,

I THINK WHILE INCORPORATING THE <b>TABLE</b> AND <b>FIELD</b> NAME IT IS NOT LETTING U TO DO SO.

TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM U HV 2 TO 2 D <b>CLASS (CL02</b>) FIRST .HERE <b>DELETE</b> THE <b>CHARACTERISTIC</b> LINE IN THE CHARACTERISTIC TAB,<b>SAVE</b> IT.

THEN GOTO D <b>CHARACTERISTIC (CT04).</b>HERE GIVE THE TABLE ND FIELD NAME IN <b>ADDITIONAL</b> TAB ND SAVE.

AGAIN GOTO <b>CL02</b> ND IN CHARACTERISTIC TAB ENTER D CHARACTERISTIC ND SAVE IT.

THIS WILL SOLVE UR PROBLEM.

It seems you have created characterstics for purchasing group

Have you assigned the characterstics value for this in classification

Please check

Also please check in CT04 IN ADDITIONAL DATA field have you maintained table name as CEKKO and field name

pls check whether u have maintained charactaristic (Z_EKGRP) correctly

in CT04 >Z_EKGRP>In additional data check table name is CEKKO

If not change it to CEKKO
