Hi everybody,
I would like to have a manual authentication in Web Dynpro java. I know there is SAP's authentication screen that can be enabled, but i need my own screen because i need to be able to read the content of a Barcode. And as far as i know it's not possible tu ose BarcodeReader in the Default Authentication Page provided by SAP.
So, what should the java code looks like to connect to authenticate the user?
I 'v seen some code examples but only to retrieve the logged in user and not to log in.
Thanks for your attention.

Hi,
There is a form-based authentication wherein you can design your own html and lsp login page and set it as default login and error page. You can get the relevant help from sdn.sap.com for form-based authentication.
