GR Quantity

Hi experts,

For a Standard material i have created Po for a qty of 1 and a price is Rs10.

Is there any chance for while doing migo i need to post this material for RS 8.without changing the Po price.

Is there any methods in sap while doing MIGO

pls help

Hi,

It epends upon the scenario you are using.

1. GR based IV - you will not be able to change the GR price without changing PO.

2. No GR based IV - post the invoice with Rs. 8 and then post GR. The price will be picked from the invoice and the GR will be done at Rs. 8. No need to change the PO.

Dear Arun,

If for the particular material you have maintained Standard Price as Price control and if you have maintained the value as Rs8 as price,then the stock account will get debited only by Rs 8 and the difference gets posted to price difference account

Hi Arun,

It is possible to change the price during MIGO.

U need to find out the Standard User exits which are called during MIGO.

U can do coding in the user exit (please discuss with techical person) and desired value will come in GR.

For e.g. “J_1I7_MIGO_DEFAULT”.

Hai,

It is not possible to change the price during MIGO but we can change the quantity & also stock types during MIGO.If the material price control is Standard " S " in MMR & the PO price is diff from MMR price, then during GR the diff amt is posted to price difference acct. If the material price control is MAP " V " in MMR & the PO price is diff from MR price, then during GR ,material is posted wrt PO value.

Price change is not allowed at the time of GR.

The price is not even displayed at the time of GR.

Hence ur doing MIGO w.r.t PO, it is not possible to do GR with Rs 8, without changing PO.

No during MIGO u can not change the price.

Hello,

When GR based invoice verification is ticked in purchase order then GR will be done on the base of purchase order only. Whan this indicator is not ticked and material subjected to MAP then for GR , price in material master is applicable.

If your material is valuated at standard price,then when you do GR, the value that post to the inventory account is from material master standard price, not from PO, and the diff is post to Material price variance account.

Migo is posted with respect to Po price Only in case of MAP material

Hence u can not change price in MIGO without PO amendment
