When we do a file to RFC scenario...

whare should we check the result(output)...

In SAP SYSTEM or ?

Yes in your R/3 system.

RFC can be used to update the data into r/3 system as well as it can also return the response. So in your case FILE to RFC, you are sending the data from XI to RFC i.e. R/3 system so out put can be seen in the respective r/3 tables.

Form XI system use SXMB_MONI also. )

hi,

You first go to xi, using t-code SXMB_MONI to check the message in abap stack, then go to RWB in java stack.

If all is ok in xi, then you can go to your RFC system to check the result.

Hi,

It depends on the mode of communication.

If it is asynchronous (I mean File to RFC) you have to check in R/3.

if it is synchronous (File to RFC to File) then you can check for the target file.
