MPOS activation after adding navigational attribute

Hi Experts,

We have added a NAV attribute to existing info object and the data is loaded to the cube with the new NAV attribute. Our CVC creation process is based on cube but the CVC does not have this navigational attribute yet. Unless CVC's have it, planning book will not show that NAV attribute. In order to achieve this, I understand we need to activate the MPOS(no deactivation, only activate).

It worked well in my Dev and Quality box and need to move this into production.

I already have taken the backup of CVC's and planning area. Kindly suggest if any additional precaution need to be taken before we activate the MPOS in production environment.

We are using SCM5.1

Hi Aditi,

This is the correct approach but please perform consistency run before and after the change at Planning area and mPOS level for safer side.
