NO IDOC Created in the Database system

Hi,

While loading ODS from a DBConnect, the load has failed giving following error.

No IDocs created; Database system

Diagnosis

No IDocs were created. The IDocs are created in BW with database systems as source systems. Since no IDocs were created, a short dump in BW probably occurred. There is no dump created in the BI casue nothing comes in to BI shoes '0' records. Not even PSA is generating request.

I have checked Datasource parameters for DB connect,Table is correct.DBA checked already with Select command he can see data ,but my extractor somehow not pullin this..Is there any way to check this extractor?

Advise me what are the possible ways to correct this error.

Andy

Hi,

check in SM58, do you see any blocked TRFC entries,if you happen to see any entry with transaction recorded, please try to push it manually by pressing F6.

also check you have sufficient permissiions in ST01(trace)

also chk this suggestions posted in the below post!

please first tell me which wich user you connect and the exact name of your table/view: is it dbo.table?

as I said, better create a user in your SQL, log with this user and create a view.

in RSBDC select this view and generate datasource. Check if you see data.

if yes, the load shouldn't fail.

We came across the same issue: login with sa, accessing a dbo. object; seing the data in RSDBC but nothing loading...

Hope this helps!!!!!!

Hi,

Did you check (and rule out) already if there were any connection issues between the BI system and the DB just at the time of start of the load?

Thanks,

Ashish
