User unable to open PO attachment in PO in ECC 6.0

Hi Experts,

When user trying to open PO attachment - system giving this SAP GUI security Pop-up and even accept option is selected 4-5 times it is not allowing him to open and finally getting Data base error- mentioned below in screen shot. same for me while checking.

BASIS Team suspect the Size of document attachment. In Standard SAP GUI Download for attachment –the limit is 10 MB. But here the attachment size is 16 MB. Do we have any constraints in PO file size related to SAP GUI Download ? Please advise. I have gone through the information shared in SCN. but it does not work.

After trying 4-5 times- clicking Allow. I am getting below message. Please advise how to fix the issue.

Hi Shivakkumar,

Attachment uploads and downloads have no restrictions in file size unless you have set it through program or your storage disk have no space left.

Please check the access of user(computer) in the said disk/path, it is possible that your computer restricting to access on the said path because in attachment viewing, SAP will download it first then store in a folder and open it.

Do you have admin rights to create directory C:\ ?

or shouldn't the customizing actually point to a different and existing directory?

Is it for all users or just for one?
