Mail QUEUE is full. Sost taking soo long! Urgent Please!

Hi,

My mail QUEUE is full because there is no job scheduled to send the emails. when I go to tcode sost, it is taking forever. Is there any other way to clear the queue? I just want to delete them since there are too many (257)...

It is urgent please...

Hi Afi...

As far as i know sending queue can only be cleared from SOST

Hi Juan, changing parameter worked fine!

It is working good now. It took about 700 sec next time. there were still some queue were there. now it is working fine. but still when i go to sost, it takes about 34 sec. is it normal?

My sost is time out dump... it is timing me out. any idea? other folks are saying to increase dialog time_out time.

Hi Afi,

This is duplicate thread. Close one of them so that every one can answer on same thread and you have clearer picture.

You may increase time out parameter though you should not do it for such issues normally.
