VL32N - Delete ASN

Hi Gurus,

I need to delete an ASN, but not able to do it as i have deleted the entry in table EKES-MENGE. This is not allowing me to delete the ASN in VL32N. Is there any possibility to delete the ASN.

GR is made for this ASN.

I could find quantity in below tables. Please let me know how to delete the ASn. or is there any possiblity to update again MENGE table, so that i can delete.

LIPS-LGMNG

LIPS-ORMNG.

I think it is better to check this inbound delivery in debugging mode with the help of ABAP team.

Hi Murali,

Please check whether your material is packed. If yes, please delete the packing and delete the inbound delivery.

It will allow you to delete the delivery.

Hi Sasi,

There is no follow on document in ASN. Means we have just received ASN and not picked or packed or invoiced.

Are you able to access the inbound delivery in VL32N?

If yes, kindly delete the inbound delivery at header level.

Hi Sasi,

Yes i could access the ASN in VL32N, when i about to delete the ASN at header level, am getting an error: "This document can not be deleted" and in Diagnosis: "The document can not be deleted because none of the document items are deletable. Possible causes are Doc items have been already invoiced or Doc items have been already been picked or Doc items have been already packed" with error message no:VL 066.

But the item has only one item, neither invoiced nor received.

Do you have mail ID, I will send across the scenario.

Hi Murali,

Kindly check whether the Goods movement status is completed.

If so, you will not be able to delete the ASN.

If both are zero, ASN qty is zero. This will not be considered in MRP.

Hi Sasi,

The Goods movement status is still "OPEN". No GR taken place.

Against ASN the quantity is still there in VL33N. Also not archived it is still OPEN.

ASN delivery qty is available in LIPSD-G_LFIMG.

I was not able to carry out VL09, as it says "No data avaialable for these selection criteria"> I presume this transaction is for revesal of goods movement, as i haven't made any goods movement its throwing this error.

Hi Murali,

The above correction program will create the entry in EKES table along with DABMG field. Hence you will be able to access the inbound delivery.

Use VL32N to get it into inbound delivery and delete either at header level or at item level.

As the record is already existing in EKES table with EKES MENGE = 0 & EKES DABMG = 0, it is not picking value from LIPS table (Value = 6144) and inserting in EKES when i executed the correction program ZKOREKES. Is there any other possiblity to delete that ASN at header level. Please help.

Hi,

You could find entries in LIPS but not in EKES,

then run this correction program"ZKOREKES"

This will create entry in EKES table for the inbound delivery.

Thanks a lot for your information, but before executing this correction program i just clarify a doubt, I need ZKOREKES to update only EKES-MENGE (Quantity received) and it shoud not update filed EKES-DABMG (Quantity received), as i have to delete the ASN.

Or if correction program updates EKES-DABMG, whether i am able to delete the ASN?

Or if i have to execute one more correction program after EKES-DABMG is updated to delete the ASN.

Please clarify.
