Webtemplate Language problem

Dear All,

I have developed a BW webtemplate using Bex query. When i am executing this template in my PC, which is having english operating system, the results are fine.

But the same webtemplate is excuting by a German client in Germany using German operating sytem, the results are trying to converted into german language, and the problem is, we are maintaining the texts for characterstics in english only. So that all the German customers are unable to see the complete report.

What could be the reason? Where the language for the webtempalate is decided?

Could you please shed some light on this issue?

Are you using 7.0 or 3.5 templates?

In 7.0 it uses EP and usually the language is determined by EP from Internet Options --> General --> Language

our system is 30B.

In case of 3.0 language is read from the user master on the BW side. Make sure the user has the language maintained as English.

i checked user master of the accessing user, it has English as the language. any other clues please?

Check the generated URL to see whether it has the language parameter in it. You can force the language using the parameter sap-language=EN as part of the URL.
