Dear community,
in our portal we can start the WebDynpro apllication FITV_POWL_TRIPS. Above the table, theire are the two buttons to create a travel request or an expense report. Both buttons work fine in the classic portal (also in the Ajax version). But when I include the app in the Fiori Launchpad, I can still start the "My trips and Expenses" view, but the buttons to create the travel requests and expense reports are not working anymore. Instead it is called: #EPNO-1691478405-Launchpad_-_Start_WD_ABAP
I have not Idea, where I can search, because in the classic portal the WebDynpro works, but the same WebDynpro does not work in the Fiori environment.
As a test, I created an app link in the Fiori Launchpad to call the "create a travel request" WebDynpro (avoiding FITV_POWL_TRIPS), which works fine.
Thanks and regards
Dear community,
this is not a satisfying answer, but a work-around: I setup all applications, which are related to the buttons in FITV_POWL_TRIPS, to "external", using LPD_CUST. Now, every pressed button opens a new window. This is not nice, but at least the users can request their travels again.
Cheers, Felix

Hi Felix,
the problem (which I haven't solved yet myself) is, that POWL-Applications frequently use OBN for means of navigation and the Fiori Launchpad apparently doesn't support this, or let's say I haven't found out what needs to be done to integrate that functionality. I've seen a lot of similar posts concerning this problem already (with no answers) and will sooner or later analyze this more in-depth (and hopefully find a workaround).
Cheers, Lukas
P.S. I'm on NW AS JAVA 7.5 SPS8, what system are you on?

Hi Lukas,
thanks for your answer. Just a short question: with OBN you mean the navigation using pcd path combined with application parameters?
Our current workaround is to create an extra tile to call directly the WebDynpro to create a new travel request. But users keep running into the non-working button ^^
Cheers, Felix
PS I am on NW 7.5 SPS7.
Hi Felix,
yes that's exactly what I mean, SAP's term for it is "OBN" --> https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/Object+Based+Navigation+-+OBN+Wiki. The Extra Tile workaround won't work for our business scenario since the endusers contextually change/delete/display from the POWL-List ;-/. Will keep you updated if I find a robust workaround.
Cheers, Lukas
