CAT2 - add additional field to header area

Currently, in our Time Entry screen, we are showing:

EE#, Cost Center, Data Entry Period, and Week #

We would like to add an additional field - Work Schedule Rule Name from Infotype 0007.

Is this possible to do from the technical side without a Core Mod? The functional people say it can't be done by them.

    SAP has itself provided with new fields on Portal - CATS time entry in EP6 / ECC 6.0 version. Which version are you currently in? AND where you u want to add this field. R/3 or ITS or Portal?

    If functional team already checked it and didn't find the field, then you may need to work on the service page on Portal to add the new field.

      yes, we plan on using one of the 10 fields SAP has extra... but this is not on the portal - it's on 4.6c R/3.

      someone told me about a way to do this using user exit EXIT_SAPLCATS_012.

      I haven't tried that yet, though.
