Course catalog problem in LSo

Hello All,

We are using ECC 6.0, Portal 7.0 SP12, deployed buss package mySAP ERP 2005 version 1.0.

Installed LSO 300 backend, LSO Front end, Bussiness pack for learning. LSo is activated.

The course catalog is maintained correctly on backend using tcode : LSO_PSV2 with course group >>>> course type >>>> business event name.

However when Portal displays the page, the course catalog is not picked up properly. Front end portal is able to talk to this LSO_PSV2 transaction code. But, it not displaying the course catalog in smilar fashion (course group >>>> course type >>>> business event name).

Directly it is displaying the course types, but not course groups.

Is there any additional confugration settings we need to make in backend to display course catalog in an hierarchical display ?

or any specific settings in HCM_LEARNING bsp application ?

Hello Anil,

please make sure that the field "Subject area" of Infotype 1063 (Course Group Info) is marked for each course group which should be displayed in the Learning Portal.

check coursecatalog.htm page here you can make the changes you are looking at...

or through your definations in the back end

you have a link between L-D-E instead try L-L-D-E

the page uses fm LSO_TRAININGCATALOG_GET_C so just check this too.

Checked with these options unders se80 >>> HCM_LEARNING >>> Pages with Flowlogic, >> catalog.htm. unable to find details in Type of definations .

Can you please elaborate the steps in detail ?

Actually we are using LSO600 Backend and LSO 600 FE. Thanks for your time and valuable inputs.
