Hello,
SolMan 3.2 allowed you to link incidents & change requests to processes (from the solution's BPR), and this functionality still exists when a 3.2 release is upgraded to 4.0.
However, on a newly installed SolMan 4.0 this functionality is not available anymore - you can still enter a business process in the notification, but is stops there. We logged this as an OSS message, but get a reply back that this is no longer foreseen in 4.0 and that we have to create a development request. A bit hard to accept, since this link, especially for change requests, is one of our key reporting dimensions.
Anyone else out there struggling with the same issue?
Thanks
Wouter
Thx for the input - I was afraid that that would be the answer. Is your custom table completely stand-alone, or does it refer in one way or another to the solution structure? We were thinking about adding a custom field with lookup functionality on the solution structure tables.

Wouter,
We noticed the same and we have spoken a SolMan developer on SapAdmin Vegas 2006.
He told us, it is going to b e re-introduced in the future.
As a work-aorund we added a listbox on the ChangeRequest, linked with a z-table.
Primitive, but working.
regards
Steven.
