Hi All,

I have developed multi-source universe based on SQL server and BW connection. For BW connection, under universe data foundation layer I am getting input column which is time-dependent. For this input column I need to pass a parameter from data foundation layer.

My requirement is to pass sysdate or current date as parameter to this input column. However, I am not seeing option to create parameter with sysdate as default value under Parameter and List of Values option in data foundation layer. Also the requirement is not to prompt user for selection of date value in report.

Has anyone created parameter with sysdate as default value in DF layer? What are the steps to achieve this.

Thanks.

Follow below steps.

1) Create new parameter and make the mention changes in the screenshot.

2) Paste this value @variable('CURDATE')

3) Change the datatype back to Date form String.

4) go to the Data Foundation and select newly created Sysdate parameter
