Outbound delivery is not getting distributed to EWM

Hi,

Need help.

I created outbound delivery in ERP system.

But it gives the message as Outbound delivery XXX saved instead of message outbound delivery xxx is created and distributed to WMS system.

I have checked the below customizing and everything seems to be right.

Delivery split - correct

delivery type distribution mode - correct

distribution model - correct

Assign Warehouse Number to Warehouse Number of Decentralized SCM System - is also maintained properly.

Can anyone tell how to solve this issue.

Hi,

When Outbound delivery with status "distributed" not appearing in EWM or SMQ1/Q2/SLG1 "run outbound process"

-> Check EWM Menu Path à Logistics à SCM EWM à Monitoring à Warehouse management monitoring à Tools à Message Queue à Execute.. Here you can see error logs or message why that is failing to EWM..

This is for Embedded EWM...

Hi Sindu,

Please check the below points.

1> Material type ( which used in Material ) must have quantity update.Please check Material Type Settings

2> Assign WM movement type references to IM movement types . Here IM mov type 601 must assign with WM Mov type 601. If you maintain WM Mov type as 999, then WH no will not determine. I guess this might be the issue in your system

IMG->Logistics Execution->Decentralized WMS Integration->Central Processing->Application->Define Interface to Inventory Management and Delivery-Relevant Data->Assign WM movement type references to IM movement types

Sorry , I was forgot about this.This might also one of the cause where WH no is not determined.

Hi,

On the delivery header data, check the "processing" tab. Check the value coming in the field "Dec. Whse". If it is "A" - it means Delivery is not yet distributed from ECC to EWM and if it is "B" then it means that delivery is sent from ECC but stuck in the queue in EWM.

If the status is "A", then you can try distributing the delivery with outbound delivery monitor - VL06O. Select the option "For distribution" and then specify the OBD # and click on the "Distribute" icon at the top of screen.

Hi Sindu,

First of all check the Simulation Button in the outbound delivery if it says can be distributed successfully then no issue.

also check the BD97 ( Assign RFC Destination )

also check the /SPE/OL19

please reply after checking these.

Where is the simulation button in outbound delivery (VLO1NO) transaction.

I checked BD97 and /SPE/OL19..It is all perfect and inbound process works fine-inbound delivery gets distributed.

It is the issue only with outbound delivery

Hi Sindu,

I guess it might be stuck in queue.Please check the below tcodes for investigation.

1> Outbound Queue( Tcode SMQ1 ) in ECC System

2> Inbound Queue( Tcode SMQ2 ) in EWM System

It is not stuck in queue also.As it is not distributed to EWM at all so it is not stuck both in ERP and EWM.

Hi Sindu,

If your ECC-EWM bridge is perfect,then It might be getting some error while converting from Inbound notification to Inbound delivery, So it might stuck up in notification.Please Tcode /SCWM/IDN and let us know the result.

Hi Ajit,

It is outbound delivery and it is not there in outbound delivery request also.Since when i salve outbound delivery it is not giving me a message as distributed to WMS.. So it has not reached EWM System at all.

Some issue/settings related to ERP.

Addition to vamsi, did you enter storage location while creation delivery ? Warehouse No will be determine Plant+ Storage location, then it will distribute.

Also check delivery type settings and WH no settings for distribution.

I entered storage location.But after i enter plant and storage location.Warehouse no field is still blank and not showing the warehouse number.

"Assign warehouse number to plant/storage location" -> this setting is done and maintained.

Delivery type settings are correct for distribution.Where do you check the warehouse no settings for distribution.

If it is this then even this is maintained "Configure SAP EWM-Specific Parameters".

Hi Ajit,

I used Delivery type LO.Item catgory DLN,Shipping point ,plant and storage location is linked correctly.

For delivery type LF -it is working fine.

The only issue is with the LO Delivery type.

I am not getting anything in incompletion log.

Hi Sindu,

Can you able to see the WH no in picking tab after entering Plant +Storage location ( EMW Managed ) while creating delivery in LO Delivery type ? Which version of ECC are you in? Are you using HANA ?Any program missing ? Search for OSS as per your system.

I worked one of my requirement like direct delivery from ERP "created the delivery with Type LO and Item Category DLN" and It was worked that time for me.

For delivery to get distributed it is important that warehouse number should get determined.

if you assignment is there and still warehouse number is not appearing then look at the delivery item category (DLN) flag for "Relevant for picking" it should be checked.
