Hi,

  1. With regards to the creation of C4C activities, how can we automatically schedule them in C4C (at different times as per the calendar of the sales rep) and assign them to a sales rep? Can we control this from yMKT.
  2. For the above requirement can we pass notes (notes of campaigns), or attachments. If not how can we do it that.
Thanks and Regards

Adoi

Dear Aditya,

I don't know about the C4C part, but I will answer regarding Hybris Marketing.

1. To create activities from Hybris Marketing to C4C, you need to run a campaign. This can be a recurring campaign, e.g. do weekly if necessary. From C4C to Hybris Marketing, once contacts are integrated, the activities get integrated automatically for us, but notes do not get integrated.

2. Inside a yMKT Campaign you can pass notes to C4C, as you can see below. However, you cannot send attachments.

With regards,

Akil

Hi Akil,

Thnaks for this, but I am more concerned about the part when these activities are created in C4C. Is ther any way yMKT can influence the determinition of sales rep or the date and time of visit.

Thanks and Regards.

Dear Aditya,

In standard functionality, I don't think you can influence incoming interactions e.g. activities. Your best best would then be the incoming interactions BAdI, though I wonder how this could be used to edit the incoming activities dynamically. Since you will have the source system, you would know that these activities are from your C4C environment, and in the BAdI you could then work with them.

With regards,

Akil

Hi Adi,

I have not tried this option but seems to logical in this scenario: Try to use account team information (employee responsible) replicated from C4C to yMKT during activity creation and pass through middleware so that you will have employee responsible (organizer) for these activities.

Thanks and regards,

Dinesh.
