How to get Crystal Reports 2016 to display a large number of database elements

Previously I have used Crystal Reports XI to connect to my database environment, which is a Microsoft SQL server (2008 if it matters). In order for the program to correctly list and display all database elements of our complex database, it was necessary to make a manual registry change.

This change was the key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\Crystal Reports\FetchOptions\NTablesMax

It is a DWord value of cf850 (hex)

Now my 2016 version is encountering the same problem. Following the previous procedure, I found the key for the above, except replacing "Suite 11.5" with "Suit 12.0" which now appears in my registry. I created the above value, however this did not fix the problem, and I am unable to display my database views.

Does anyone know of a solution to this issue for the 2016 version?

12 would be CR version 2008, for 2016 it's version 14.

Key is here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Crystal Reports\FetchOptions
