How to decide webdispatcher's port number?

I see too many port numbers in the webdisp profiles.

Please help tell which is the port for the webdispatcher.

Thanks! Points guaranteed.

    HI CZ,

usually they are the standart 80 for HTTP or 443 for SSL... pretty much depends on what do you want to do with your webdispatcher..

    Hi C.Z,

I am not sure what you mean with "I see many port numbers in the profile" ?

The port the SAP Web Dispatcher is listening to can be configured with the

    parameter :

    icm/server_port_<XX> = ..,PORT=1080, PROT= HTTP,..

Setting this parameter would make the web dispatcher listening for the protocol

HTTP on the port 1080 ..

    Kind Regards
