Version Management Tool in Successfactors

Hi Guru,

Currently, the XML files in Successfactors are being manually downloaded by the configurator. Then the configurator manually keeps a backup of the XML file in his computer. Then after making changes in the XML file, the configurator uploads the file in the system.

Not only one configurator have access to teh same XML file, That sometimes the XML file can be overwritten by another uploaded XML file.

I would like to develop a version management tool similar to GIT, to back up XML files in Successfactors and also monitor who made the changes and wht changes have been made to the XML file.

Question: What technology can be used to develop the tool?
