Job is still running after DSO activation

Hi all,

I'm working on SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 0013.

The problem i face is that after a successful activation of DSOs the activation job is still active in SM37 and there are lock records in SM12.

I've check the New Data Table of the DSO and there was no data there.

So the question is if the activation was finish and the data is available for reporting, why the job itself not finished?

Thanks,

Y.B

      Hello,

      We have the same problem:

when we activate the data in our DSO, the job (BI_PDSA*) is doing well the activation of the data, but this job doesn't finish.

When we want to activate other data on the same DSO, the activate button is inactive and we have to terminate the job in SM37 to activate the other data.

Did someone know the solution ?

      Thanks a lot in advance

      Fabrice

    Hi YB,

Please check out with the Relevent ABAP program.

Due to some loop problem it will keep on running.

once if you regenerate the Program in SE38 i think it will solve the problem.

If you find the solution with this Idea may assign points

    Regards,
