Calling BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1 to create SO

Hi,

I am calling the BAPI 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1' to create the sales order , but i also want to update the data of the append structure created in the table VBAK for the addition fields added in the transaction VA01 through the screen exit. How can i attain this?

If you are using a version above 4.6B is suggest to use the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 since the BAPI which u mentioned is obsolete as of 4.6C.

Coming to the appended structure which have appened in VBAK table. You can make use of the BAPI Extensions which is available in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 but NOT in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT<b>1</b>

Under the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 in the tables tab you have a parameter as below

EXTENSIONIN LIKE BAPIPAREX Customer Enhancement for VBAK, VBAP, VBEP

You should be able to extend the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 using this extension.
