complex type not permitted error

Hi friends,

i am new to xi could anyone tell me y is this note occuring,it occurs when creating a structure for datatype in integration builder.the note states that 'Complex type not permitted (restrictions and enhancements of complex types are not supported)'.

i have included two datatypes in the same structure namely string and integer.Is that the reason.

Nope...I dont think so..

Looks like you are trying to update the Complex Datatype elements instead of the underlying primitive data types.

You can edit only the elements of primitive datatypes, but not the elements which are created as composite.
